Sometimes it just happens; sometimes time ‘you’ allow it to happen; - try to embrace the situation and seize the moment. Live Again. I wanted to do ‘this’ for longtime and I had done it today.
While in the wilderness of Scotland 🏴 in 2009, our guide stopped the 16 seat vehicle 🛻 and asked us to trek in virgin landscape of Highland of Scotland 🏴- we were at Inverness. After crossing 5 km, we came across a narrow mouth lake but deep one. He asked all 16 to jump in to the natural pool. Barring 6 Americans and 4 Australians, we shrugged 🤷 off due to fear - fear of unknown. After the ‘celebration of joy’ by 10 tourists, we moved on. Even today I feel I missed something. I should have done ‘that’. Like this many times I missed the 🚌 bus, moments of joy. It could be just taking shower under water falls of Himachal Pradesh or be it’s detouring in the wilderness.
But today, I grabbed the moment. Sanjiwani was on wheels and we were just returning back to Nasik after successfully finishing the Salher’s toll talking trek. We were physically tired with exceptionally fresh mind. I had my stress test ‘done’ with flying colors - steep climb 🧗♂️ of 2200 ft. All of a sudden, at roadside a natural waterfall is spotted by Sanjiwani. She challenged me and Shekhar- would you like bath here since you haven’t bathed in morning. Without losing an iota of time, we said - Stop 🛑 the car.
Then instantly we become reasonably necked and were under footsteps of 25 feet high waterfall. The intensity of falling water was enough to get body massaged. 15 minutes massage was tiring as well as soothing.
This was kind of Li’Reel - Liril moments. I recall the famous advert of soap 🧼 and the girl 👧. Also, I sandwiched the inverse water fall of Salher Fort.
I will never forget this embrace with nature. Taking a freelance bath under fall was deep rooted desire in my mind, since 1982.
